DAY 1
So to start the festivities - here's some GREAT news regarding Cheri Edwards. She's someone we helped, along with the Heart and Soul Fund, this summer. She's the sister of one of our oldest and dearest friends, Mark Flynn, who's as close to being our brother as any living human is. I hope you'll agree the news that was received on December 2 of... this year is extremely joyful! Here's a great post from her daughter, Cindy Edwards.

"Today is officially the best day ever!!!!!!! My strong, amazing, beautiful, wonderful, resilient, fantastic mother Cheri Edwards is IN REMISSION !!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of you mommy! You never gave up and you endured things no one should ever have to. You stayed positive through it all and never let the monster win. You're incredible and I love you more than anything! Congratulations mommy, you did it!"

Day 3 
finds us sharing some news from our favorite superhero - Brandon Hinojosa

Last month, Brandon's incredible family posted this on Facebook:
"We have been nothing but blessed with this sweet little angel. Brandon has just a little over a year to go with his treatments and he's just doing amazing!! TEAM BRANDON#"

We're sending all kinds of love, cheer and good tidings to one of the most amazing kids we know. We KNOW Santa will be good to you kiddo, you deserve it!!!

Day 5
finds us sharing some news from Mia Gurevitz, an adorable little girl whose family we helped last year. She’s had a tough 2015 but things are looking good for 2016 as you’ll see from this video and December 1 post.

“Today our wish came true, brain tumor is stable and spinal lesions are decreased in size. Our warrior has also gained weight and grown. We will continue on with three more months of t...his protocol and rescan then. Today's date is hugely meaningful to our family as four years ago today on 12/1/2011 Mia got her very first port placed and received her first dose of chemotherapy also. Thank you to our tribe for standing with us and supporting us with your love and good juju. ‪#‎grateful‬”

Day 7
Today we honor Jake Spachner. In 2009, they were only the 2nd family we helped.

On December 15 of this year, Jake Spachner celebrated 4 years since his last chemo pill. This brave, incredible 11 year old still has the same infectious smile he had when we helped his family 6 years ago.

Merry Christmas Jake! All of us at BTB nation send our love, cheers and support to you and your family!

DAY 2
On January 21, 2016, Lisa Serio will celebrate 5 years of remission from her cancer! A CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION!
We were honored to help her family 5 years ago and since then have been blessed to have the Serio family become such a big part of our foundation.

Lisa is our "Shot Cop" annualy at our golf event - serving shots and libations while arresting many of the golfers. Her husband, Chef Danny, has given so much time and energy on our board and at cooking events to raise money to help even more families.

Day 4 
finds us sharing some news from a family we helped last year – Kathleen Coughlin O’Malley. She’s shared some beautiful pictures with us of her twins and some fantastic news about her remission!

“What a year! I am happy to say that I am going into 2016 in remission and have beat cancer! I had my last of big surgeries, which was the reconstruction 2 weeks ago and I am healing really well. I also had my ovari...es and Fallopian tubes removed a month ago as a precaution since I am BRCA2 positive. I am looking forward to ringing in the New Year getting stronger every day and hoping to start back at work. The twins are almost 11 months old and are crawling and getting into everything. They are truly our little Angels and we can't wait to continue to watch them grow in 2016. We are so blessed with health, family and friends and are thankful for all of the support we have received this past year.”

Day 6 
finds us sharing some news from Rosie Colucci, the incredible girl whose family we helped a few years ago. She has to be the bravest, toughest kid we’ve met and know you’ll love hearing this information from her mother’s recent post!

“ROSIE'S MRI IS STABLE!! Tonight she will continue on this current clinical trail chemotherapy and finish this course after 26 months!!! Just 10 days before Christm...as!!! BEST GIFT EVER!!! PRAYERS ANSWERED!!
It has been a long 26 months, even Rosie said, "I had to fight you on this one Mom, I didn't mean to fight you, I didn't want to fight you, but my body wanted to fight you."
It reminds me of when she was little and she was on steroids, she would say it wasn't her acting out... " I can't help it mom, it's the pills that make me do it." I knew she was right; just like I get it now.

Only 26 days to go!!!! 208 Chemo pills more to swallow!!!! Whoo-hoo!!!
Rosie will be so happy on Christmas day, 2 prayers answered!!! Done with this chemo!

Day 8 
Today we honor Cody Neilson who we helped 2 years in a row!   

Cody has had a good year – MVP of the summer baseball tournament - but is still facing a cancer battle in 2016.  He’ll begin a new round of chemo pills and can use all our love and support.  What a superhero!  Merry Christmas CODY!
