The collective hearts of BTB are broken.
She was one of the heroes we supported in 2015 and today we learned she's lost her cancer battle. RIP dear Mia... A note from her parents, Dan & Lisa Lisa and I are heartbroken. Mia Bennett Gurevitz passed away peacefully in our arms at 12:10 am, today - October 25th 2017. We will be planning a memorial service for 11/12/17 (in Chicago). More information will follow. Thank you all for your kind words, gifts, meals, calls, texts, and face-times. Your support has meant the world to us. A true hero - you will be missed by all. We love you. #forever4 #LYCAY |

Chef Dan Serio showed off some tremendous cooking skills & was joined by Mariano's
Dietician, Peggy Balboa.
They taught us how to shop, choose, rub, steam, bake, skewer, grill, jerk, bone-in and lavish your food!
And we were joined by Dennis McKinnon of the '85 Super Bowl Bears.
Sponsored by the men's health task force of the American Cancer Society, Mariano's Fresh Market and Victoria's in the Park in Mt. Prospect, the evening helped improve your diet through easy to learn cooking skills.
Eating well can also mean eating healthier - WITHOUT SKIMPING ON TASTE!
