Jo Ann Mirabelli

Jo Ann has an incredible smile that transforms every room she enters.  She's Married to John and they have 3 beautiful children, Jianna, Emma and Jack.  

She was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer in April of 2017.  She has been given a mix of treatments that haven't seemed to work.  With each failed treatment her cancer has progressed.  It has found its way into multiple bones throughout her entire body and in her liver.  She is currently receiving IV chemotherapy.

Jo Ann is utilizing some alternative treatments, (Acupuncture, hypnosis, Reiki, healing touch, oncology massage and reflexology) which aren't covered by insurance to offset the side effects of her chemo therapy. 

John owns his own business which is their primary source of income. However with her illness, the business has suffered greatly. John is pulled in many different directions, trying to maintain work but taking care of Jo Ann, her appointments, and all the extra household and parental duties.  They have a low income, high debt, and pay over $3000 a month just for their health insurance alone.

Any funds received from our outing would help them ease their financial burden, helping to pay bills, take care of their family and allow them a few opportunities to do activities together as a family so they can make the most of the time they have.

Metastatic Breast Cancer is a terminal disease.  Jo Ann's treatments will continue to get harder as her cancer progresses. The average prognosis is 3 years.  Jo Ann feels it's very important to build family memories while they still can.
