GENERAL NOTES
Event will start rain, shine or snow. Event could be delayed due to lightning or other possibly dangerous conditions. Event is Chip Timed. Your bib contains your timing chip. You must wear your bib on your front across your stomach to be electronically timed. Course conditions on event day could be variable including the potential for water, ice & snow. It is the participant’s responsibility to take proper caution. All participants are required to sign a waiver to be considered a participant. Dogs are not allowed. There is no age limit for the 5k it is the participant's or participant’s parents responsibility to determine whether they are healthy enough to complete the distance safely. Headphones/iPod/mp3 devices are strongly not recommended. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear and detect present or potential hazards and dangers as the course is not closed. There will be other runners, walkers, cyclists, roller-bladers, and dog walkers along the path as well. Please be careful and respectful and, hopefully, they will do the same. |
